Yee haw! The exact composition of this one-off course for improving paddlers will depend on what the ocean throws at us. We'll be checking buoy-reports and weather forecasts to predict where the best conditions will be, and then we'll go find them. Possible destinations could include the tide-race over the Bass Harbor Head bar, surf off the Cranberry Islands, the Rock Gardens along eastern Mount Desert Island, or checking out the towering cliffs and narrow caves of Ironbound Island.
Who knows what we'll find, but one thing is for sure - you'll get a lot out of this great day of adventure and instruction, including the skills you need to safely play in these fun environments with your own paddling partners.
